Primer grey

This is a color I don’t wear that often. It is a Sephora color from a pack given to me by a co-worker a few years back. these colors are one-coat thick and glossy. This makes them a delight to apply. Once applied the color looked a lot more brown than it looked from inside the bottle. The boy says it looks exactly like the grey primer he’s used for years on his models. I noticed it exactly matched the keys on my office phone. I took a photo to share the match, but on the photo the colors don’t match. I’m telling , in real life, the colors are exactly the same.

Steampunk nails, first edition

This is Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Copperhead. This looked like a lovely color for fall, and, with it’s nod to industrial metals, like a great color for SteamCon.

I decided to freehand in Steampunk-esque pictures; gears, clockfaces, that sort of thing.  Unfortunately, the silver nail pen couldn’t be seen very well.  I guess the contrast of the silver on the shimmery brown wasn’t enough to be detectable.

I decided to recover the nails the next day.  Stay tuned for the next post to see the final result!
